Frequently asked
You are probably here because you need a temporary healthcare worker, and you need one soon. That is the situation Qual Recruitment is built around, and it is why this page exists. Below you will find the questions we hear most often from care homes, hospitals, clinics and support services that are thinking about booking their first shift with us. If your question is not here, call us and we will give you a straight answer.
We are operated by QUALITY PRECISION GROUP LIMITED, and our website is qualplace.co.uk. We supply temporary staff across healthcare settings, from healthcare assistants and support workers to registered nurses and specialist practitioners. The work is booked by the shift, not by the contract, so you can fill a gap on Friday night without committing to anything beyond that shift. Most of our clients start with one booking and build from there.
The questions on this page cover the practical side: how to register, how quickly we can fill a request, what checks our workers have, how timesheets and invoicing work, and what happens if a shift does not go to plan. We have kept the answers short and concrete. Where a detail depends on your setting or your location, we say so rather than pretending there is one rule for everyone.
If you are a worker looking for shifts rather than a client looking to book them, the same principles apply. You will need to complete our registration and compliance checks before your first shift, and you will be paid weekly for the hours you work. The questions below are written mainly from the client side, but the answers about compliance, pay and shift booking apply to you too. Get in touch and we will walk you through it.
